Graham Hicks posted a comment (thanks!) on my recent entry on a new rationalism in design, and specifically the work of Naoto Fukasawa, whose notion of design dissolving in behaviour encapsulates the whole thing. Graham pointed me at some beautiful work recently added to the IDEO site, and a short piece on his Personal Skies commission for MOMA's Workspheres exhibit (req. Flash - open the popup, click 'concepts', and look to the post-it notes on the left - I actually found a more usable, informative item on same at IDEO).
I thought I'd share them with you.
(great Fukasawa quote: "Good design means not leaving traces of the designer and not overworking the design" (Strongly reminiscent of Tom Moran))
